I am 19 years old and during those years I have grown special, strong bonds with a lot of my friends I grew up with. It was difficult at first knowing I was going to leave them and move to a place where I knew no one but my parents. I thought it would be extremely hard, but God gave me so much strength so I could leave everyone that I've known since I was 5 when I moved to KY.
When we arrived to Copan Ruinas, where we are currently living, we immediately met the Pastor's family. The love of Jesus was all over them, they made me feel at home as soon as we met them. They embraced me with so much love I felt like I already had family down here just waiting for us to come. Also, the Pastor owns a Christian-based Bilingual school. When they told me that they needed somebody to teach fifth grade and they wanted me to be the teacher I was amazed. I have always wanted to be a teacher and I was just being handed my dream! They told me, the Pastor's family, that they have been praying for God to send them someone who can teach; he sent me. I am extremely thankful for the job and the students I have been blessed with! God is the one to thank! However, none of this would be happening if I did not obey him when he said, "Go!"
